News Update

We have just finished extensive groundworks and

are delighted to have our

Log Cabin and 22ft Yurt  now available for hire.

Both have their own private facilities, log burner, built in kitchen areas and

are finished to a high standard.

If you are looking for an alternative sleepover experience for your children, a 'back to basics' weekend or simply a retreat away from the daily grind then Tepee Valley Campsite is just for you.

It is located outside the small town of Markethill and has exceptional views over farming countryside, down to the Cusher River and across to Slieve Gullion in the distance.

Here, you will experience peace and quiet within a choice of either a traditional Native American Tepee or inside a perfectly furnished gypsy caravan - The Rosie Lee.

The 'Rosie Lee' gypsy caravan is for those little girls who dream of 'playing house'.

Inside you will find a double bed and a double bunk bed (which sleeps 2 adults and 2 children), a kitchen area with Belfast sink, fridge, gas cooker and dresser unit. A Whale space heater provides heat.

Outside as you take in the view from the steps, a chiminea will provide warmth late into the evenings.

See photo gallery for more interior photos of the Rosie Lee.

Tepee Valley is designed for that back to nature camping.

The Tepee sleeps 6 people comfortably, one of which must be an adult. Three mattress beds are provided and soft furnishings to lounge about on. Outside there is seating around a firepit that can be also used for cooking over and a covered picnic table for eating at. Board games, collecting wood, reading, story telling and campfires keep everyone busy.
